Congratulations on Your Commuteride Workspace Mobility Grant!
Hooray! Your business or organization was selected as one of the 2021 Commuteride Workspace Mobility Grant recipients. Your project/proposal is exciting and important for our community - and we’d like to help you spread the word about it! To help share information about how you will use these grant funds to support commuters, we have provided a Grant Recipient Media Kit below.
The following materials are intended for the use of Commuteride Workspace Mobility Grantees and will help you get the recognition you deserve. Here are some suggested ways to announce your organization’s grant award:
The Commuteride Workspace Mobility Grant was funded in part by a grant from AARP. The AARP Community Challenge is part of AARP’s nationwide Livable Communities initiative, which supports the efforts of cities, towns, neighborhoods and rural areas to become great places to live for people of all ages.

Please acknowledge ACHD Commuteride’s support with our name and logo in publications, events, or presentations related to the grant funding. Where possible, please include the written acknowledgement below as well as the logo:

There are two logo versions in both color and all white. Use whichever best fits your publication preserving original colors. Acceptable use of the grant logos include, but are not limited to: newspaper ads, TV ads; newsletters, postcards, brochures; websites and social media channels.
press release
If you choose to issue a press release announcing the grant award, try to include pictures of the program and check presentation, along with the ACHD Commuteride Works Mobility Grant graphic and/or the 2021 Grantee graphic.

Consider hosting events to mark your project’s major milestones. Include donors, community leaders, staff, and customers in photo opportunities.
OFFLINE AND ONLINE PUBLICATIONS
Feature the grant award in newsletters, emails, social media, and on your website. Include a compelling photo of the project or the employees and customers you are serving, the check presentation, etc.

OUR NAME AND ORGANIZATIONAL DESCRIPTION
Please use “ACHD Commuteride” when referring to the organization. When including a description, please use the following:
ACHD Commuteride was established in 1976 as a program of the Ada County Highway District to promote smart commute options through education, rideshare services, and effective partnerships in the community. Today, it operates the oldest multi-employer vanpool program in the country and provides commute programs for Treasure Valley employers and residents.
SHARE YOUR STORY
ACHD Commuteride is always interested in capturing the stories and successes of the businesses and organizations we work with. Telling your story helps tell ours! We often feature these stories in our marketing materials, including newsletters, social media, case studies, and our annual report.
ACHD Commuteride highlights its grantees through the media, on our website and social media, and in our annual report.
You can also share project photos in Mighty Networks, a group of local business leaders or representative already working with Commuteride to support and encourage smart transportation in their workplaces. It’s a great resource for sharing ideas, asking questions, and learning what others like you are doing!
